Australian Indian Radio was launched on 29th January 2015 , by Umesh and Usha Chandra ( Brisbane City Councils citizen of the year 2019). Umesh and Usha Chandra have been in the media industry since 2003 When They had launched Brisbane Indian Times , Queensland's first full colour newspaper for the Indian community. Australian Indian Radio is a twenty four hour online Indian Radio station, Brisbane Indian Times is a monthly publication. The couple own and operate Globenet Realty , a successful Real Estate in North Brisbane , established since 1998. The couple are actively involved with many community organisations , such as GOPIO Queensland and India Day Fair.
