The Australian Mini Golf Federation (AMGF) is the pre-eminent body taking responsibility for the development of minigolf in Australia.

Recognition[edit]

The AMGF is a member[1] of the World Minigolf Sport Federation (WMF) and is recognised by the WMF as the national sporting organisation for minigolf in Australia.

Organisation[edit]

The AMGF is an incorporated association under the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012 as of 11 April 2018.

The purposes of the association are:

  • Represent the interests of its members and associated members by promoting, developing and regulating the sport of minigolf in Australia
  • Sanction, provide oversight and regulate the Australian championships and other major minigolf events held in Australia
  • Promote safe minigolf play, good sportsmanship, non-discrimination and equal opportunity
  • Oversee the selection of Australian national teams
  • Seek sponsorship and grants to support the development of the sport of minigolf in Australia

National team[edit]

The national team competed on the international circuit for the first time at the 2017 World Minigolf Championships in Croatia.[2][3]

National championships[edit]

The Australian Minigolf Championships (AMGC) are held annually and were sanctioned by the WMF for the first time in 2018.[4]
