Autism Info-Blast

The Autism Info-Blast originated in Springfield, Missouri at the Battlefield Mall in 2015. The event is held annually in April, which is Autism Awareness Month. STARS for Autism, a non-profit group organizes the event which is free to the public. This event gives parents and teachers an opportunity to meet face-to-face with autism providers and resources for support and education. STARS for Autism features a book distribution. Books distributed have included STARS in Her Eyes: Navigating the Maze of Childhood Autism", and "Tic Toc Autism Clock", both by Dr. Linda Barboa and Elizabeth Obrey. Local agencies attending represent support groups, therapy information, educational choices, pet therapy support, counseling, athletic opportunities, therapeutic horseback riding, and information about forming a disability ministry.[1][2]
