Autmigo

Autmigo is a portmanteau of the words "autism" and "amigo". Like Spanish nouns, it can be utilized with lexical genders as well as plurals, creating the additional forms of the word "Autmiga, amutmigos, and autmigas". The word has a positive connotation. 

Coined by social media personality, speaker, advocate, autism mother, and CEO of LittleStar ABA, Mary Rosswurm, the word is a way to signify friendship between people in and around the autism community. It denotes warmth and as well as shared experiences for those diagnosed with autism and their allies. 

Example, "Hello, my autmigos." can be taken to mean, "Hello my friends with shared experiences and knowledge of autism."
