The Autowini platform originated from an internal project at the SK-Encar, a Korea’s used car retail platform, which aimed to establish an international marketplace for auto traders. The platform was launched in 2010. In April 2014, Encar spun off the business, and Autowini Inc. became an independent company.[3][4] In September 2014, Autowini introduced “Buy it Safely” (BIS), a patented trade mediation service designed to facilitate secure transactions between buyers and sellers.[5]
