Autumn Skye Morrison (born June 26, 1983) is a Canadian artist and singer-songwriter. Her paintings weave together refined realism, iconic symbolism, and glowing geometries. Her songwriting, often inspired by nature, mythology and the human experience, has received widespread media coverage and critical praise. Autumn Skye teaches and exhibits worldwide, and otherwise paints in Powell River, on the Sunshine Coast of BC, Canada.
Through her art, Autumn Skye strives to support others through creative empowerment and the perpetuation of inspiration. Autumn Skye is regarded as a visionary artist where she is known for intricate detail, often featuring the human form and beauty in nature. Her artwork incorporates powerful symbolism and visions, designed to inspire hope and a sense of belonging.

“Each Canvas Takes Me On A Journey, And As My Paintbrush Follows, Each Time I Am Led Back To My Centre. I Believe That The Role Of The Artist Is Especially Crucial At This Challenging And Exciting Time. While The World Is At The Precipice Of Momentous Change, Artworks Have The Potential To Be Maps, And These Maps Can Help Guide Humanity Forward Into New And Positive Ways Of Seeing And Being. Through Creativity We Have The Opportunity To Transmute Shadow And Pain Into Visions Of Healing And Wholeness. And So, I Offer My Artwork As A Mirror, Both An Intimate Personal Reflection And A Grand Archetypical Revelation. Within These Visions, May Each Viewer Recognize Their Own Sacred Heart And Cosmic Divinity. And, Through This Recognition, May We Remember The Innate Grace That Dwells Within.”
Autumn's background
Autumn Skye was born in 1983 in Nova Scotia, on a maple syrup and blueberry farm on the Parsborro Shore. Her family gradually moved west, with her father settling in the Rocky Mountains and her mother in the temperate rain-forests of the BC Coast. Spending her youth within these incredible landscapes, she developed a deep wonder for the magic and richness of nature.
Autumn Skye's childhood was spent travelling the boundlessly majestic landscapes of North America, developing a deep wonder for nature and the diversity of humanity. She has been translating this inspiration through artwork since she was old enough to hold a pencil. Recognizing her curious imagination, creativity was always supported by her family.
Autumn Skye's paintings continue to gain expanding recognition, attracting collectors and students from around the globe. She teaches and exhibits worldwide, and otherwise now lives with her partner and his extended family, two rescued dogs and a self-rescued cat on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of BC, Canada.
