Av LMKR NeShawn McCuien is a rap artist/writer/battle rapper/ better known as "Av" or "Compton Av", that was born and raised in Compton CA. He also is one of the founding members of "LMKR" (Loyalty, Music, Knowledge, Respect)(Label Me Krack Rated), a Entertainment Entity that is comprised of Students, Artists, and successful young people who are involved in music, film, dance, rap, etc. He has a big Mixtape hosted by Dj Carisma (Power 106)[1] called Remember Me MakAvEli[2]. And he currently has a hot single on itunes with Kurupt and Snoop Dogg called "Wonder Why They Call You B*tch"[3] on Snoop Dogg's Snoop Dogg,That's My Work Vol. 1 Mix tape[4] Released Dec. 2012. Mixed by the Legendary DJ BATTLECAT[5]

BIOGRAPHY

A.V is an inspired Artist created by his surroundings. Living thru his music, creating thru his circumstances. Most Influenced by Tupac and his philosophy. He is driven to succeed simultaneously having fun. A.V.’s current music talks about his swagger his relationships his fantasies and a lot of his reality. His music is diverse relating to the streets, the parties he attends, and what happens in them. A.V. rap artist, music producer, writer, battle rapper ready to do it all waiting for no one. A born leader not waiting for his turn merely taking it. A connoisseur of lyrics with the ability to take his art and love of Music to a new level. He can take any style of music and make it his own. He has created a new sound called Sagg Muzik, which combines, lyrical skill with rhythm from jazz and R&B to create a melodic, style that has set the bar for many other artist to follow. His vision is incredible and inspiring. Originally he was a Battle Rapper making his mark in places where he could hone his skills, mainly known for his battles in the Pit. His drive for success allowed him to see, that to make a living at doing something he loved he would have to expand from just battling and winning monetary Rap Wars to becoming an all around Independent Artist. A.V. was born Neshawn McCuien in Compton, Ca. Growing up, A.V. was hardened by the many difficult experiences he was put through. Which sparked a creative side of him as an outlet of things he was going thru. Being in the street so much everyone nicknamed him A.V. Short for Avenue. A.V. is one of the main members from a movement started by him and others. LMKR (label me, Krack- rated) which was invented when three crews (label me bomb, Krack City Ent., and X-rated) all got together and started making music together. LMKR members are young artists, models, photographers, students etc. The reason they are so successful is that they all share the same hunger and passion, and they all have the same desire to be successful. The movement is now 5000+ strong and continuously growing. LMKR now standing for (Loyalty, Music, Knowledge, Respect).


MUSIC CAREER

2005-2008 BATTLE RAPPER Av came up in the battle rap arena at places like the Pit, Project Blow,and other popular spots in Los angeles and surrounding cities. A.V. RAP BATTLE AT THE PIT Video by DOUBLE-P shows some of his unique skill in this arena. Co-signed by Redman at one of his rap battles as a sharp young gladiator in the craft.Av Vs. Pryo[6]. Lyrical taking his opponent apart was his specialty, that had veterans in the sport embracing him from other cities (New York, Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago...etc).

2008/2009 He dropped a Mix tape called A.V. Greatest Hitz[7] in April of 2009 on itunes,amazon, emusic, etc. Along with singles "I'm On"[8], "Dougie"[9] and "Tattoos"[10], that generated over 1 million views. He secured a Digital Distrubution deal for all 3 singles with CREATE.DIGITAL MUSIC[11], partners with INgrooves/Fontana, Universal Music Publishing Group, The Recording Academy, Harlem World, ASCAP, Grammy Camp,SESAC, BMI, Career Day, COOLRUCKUS Records, and The Society of Composers & Lyricists[12].

2010 Presented: Sagg Muzik Vol. 1[13] on itunes,amazon, EMusic, etc. In 2010 Sagg Muzik was the birth of the Sagg Muzik era, and his single, "HER, HER, HER" which generated almost 1/2 a million views, and gave birth to what is now called THE RACHET movement. In June 2010, he had a huge album listening event at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

2011 ALL ON ME[14] on itunes, amazon, EMusic, etc. In 2011 he released his next Mix tape called "All On Me" certified street smash. A video was shot for the single "Need Somebody" which appeared on World Star Hip Hop, and solicited him fans all over the world. Became a member of Strictly Diversified INC[15]. a non-profit organization to support and teach at risk kids the inner workings of the film and recording industry.

2012 "Mak-Av-Eli" April/ "Remember Me MakAvEli" September/ Atlanta Tour Tour to Atlanta with Young Life Entertainment/Big C-Style first stop The Salute The DJ Awards Show 2012 ATL[16], for Red Carpet Appearances and Interviews, then on to Magic City[17] for a live performance with Dj X-Rated(Future's DJ). Stopped by the (VH1 taping of 2 Turntables and A Mic , for an interview and Red Carpet Photo shoot. Then a meeting with Sesac's Capriccio Scates(Director of artist & publisher relations). A visit to Hot 97.5/107.9[18] (Atlanta's Hottest Hip Hop Station), to get his song "Dive In It" put on the playlist for the new music program. September mix tape Hosted by DJ Carisma Power 106, Featuring Mac Ace, Doe Boy, Meco, J-Star, Ease, Stats, Compton Menace, Yung from Cali Swag Dist, The Vixenz, EZ & Killa F: From the Finatticz and Tipse (Smash Gang) and Young Sam and Big C-Style. In Dec. Kuru}pt on "Wonder Why They Call You B*tch" on Snoop Dogg's "That's My Work" Mix tape. Single dropped with Snoop Dogg and Kurupt later that month. "Av Wonder Why They Call You B*tch" featuring Snoop Dogg and Kurupt on itunes.

2013 "T.H.U.G.G.I.N" (Take Hardship & Use Gods Gift Inspite of Negativity).

Currently working on and scheduled to release this year will be his album called,"T.H.U.G.G.I.N" (Take Hardship & Use Gods Gift Inspite of Negativity). Secured a distribution deal with ChazBo Music[19] for February Promotion in San Francisco Area, for Sheikh Shoes[20]. 74 stores will play the "I GOTTEM SAGGIN EDIT VERSION" video,4 times a day in each store, for the entire month of February 2013.
