Ava Jalali is a fictional character on Freeform's Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, a television series spin-off of Pretty Little Liars which is based on a book series of the same name and also based on The Perfectionists book series written by American author Sara Shepard. Ava is a fashion student at Beacon Heights University who is part of a group targeted by Nolan Hotchkiss's killer. She is based on the book character with the same name.

On January 29, 2018, it was announced that Sofia Carson had been cast to portray Ava Jalali in Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, one of the lead characters.[1] The show received a series order on May 14, 2018.[2]
