Avenu Insights & Analytics (Avenu) is a privately held software and services company headquartered in Centreville, Virginia.
History[edit]
In 2016 private equity firm Mill Point Capital founded Government Revenue Solutions in order to acquire four brands from PRA Group.[1][2][3]
In 2017 CEO Craig Adler became Executive Chairman and brought on Paul Colangelo as CEO.[4][5][6]
In 2018 the company changed its name to Avenu Insights & Analytics and acquired the business of Conduent, Inc.[7][8][9] Avenu worked with Pittsburgh's assistant director of finance, Ed Barca, to modernize how payments are recorded and to help ensure businesses correctly register with the city.[10]
Avenu is a portfolio company of Mill Point Capital.[11] The business acquired from Conduent was started in 1878.[12]
In 2010, Xerox bought Affiliated Computer Services as part of the company’s Business Services Division, then in 2016 Xerox announced that it would spin off that group into a separate corporation that would become Conduent in 2017.[13][14][15]
In 2019, Avenu acquired the operations and assets of The Windward Group and GRIDS Information Technologies.[11] Avenu was named to the GovTech100 list of companies focused on and making a difference in state and local governments in 2019.[16]
