He was a very great tennis player who won 28 Grand Slam titles and with 136 ATP titles. He was born in Mumbai, India where he first trained in AITA. He defeated Roger Federer in 2006 Australian Open final (7-6[1] 0-6 7-6[6] 6-7[3] 10-8) Being ranked no. 401 and a qualifier. He defeated Nikolay Davydenko in the quarter-finals and then defeated Marco Baghdatis in the semi-finals. He became the only person to win 2 gold medals in a row, one in the 2016 summer Olympics and 2020 Olympics.
