Avionics Support Group, Inc. (ASG) is a global Avionics Systems Integration & Federal Aviation Administration Parts Manufacturer (FAA-PMA) approved Aerospace Manufacturing company providing single source solutions for avionics engineering, avionics manufacturing and technical support to commercial aviation, aerospace and the military.[1]

Avionics Support Group (ASG) was founded by Armand Wong, Hugo L. Fortes and Robert Alfonso in 1996 in Miami, Florida.[2] In 2000 Alex Rodrigo joined the company and the engineering department was created. The company's corporate headquarters in located in Miami, Florida. Avionics Support Group is organized into the primary divisions Avionics Engineering, Avionics Manufacturing, and Avionics Products. Avionics Support Group was the first in receiving FAA STC approval for the installation of a class 2 Electronic Flight Bag device on a commercial aircraft. Today the Company is led by Armand Wong, Hugo L. Fortes, and Alex J, Rodrigo.[3]

The company’s main products are US Patented Electronic Flight Bag mounts (cfMount™), tablet cradles, EFB power supplies, Ethernet adapters, and SATCOM Panels.[5]

Avionics Support Group provides avionics engineering services to airlines worldwide. Services include STC Certification Services, and avionics engineering design with FAA 8110-3 approvals for a wide range of avionic systems. The engineering department also supports the design of Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) mounting solutions, Integrated Power Supply, Power Ethernet Adapters, SATCOM Control Panels and Trays. Avionics Support Group can be considered a leaders in the aerospace industry with the US patented Constant Friction Mounts (cfMount™), Integrated Power Supply and EFB Mounts.[4][6]

Avionics Support Group has been assessed for conformance with the provisions set forth by ISO 9001:2015 AS9100D quality system requirements.[7]
Avionics Support Group is a FAA-PMA approved corporation working closely with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Aircraft Certification Office. The company holds a variety of Supplemental Type Certificates (STC) issued by the FAA, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the Civil Aviation Administration of China, Transport Canada and the National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil (ANAC).[8][9]
