Avior was founded in 2011 as the first U.S.'s tobacco tax software company. Avior introduced similar platforms for motor fuel excise tax, followed by alcohol beverages excise tax, and then sales tax for retail companies.
In December 2019, Avior received trade marks for TobTax, FueTax, AlcTax, and SutTax software products.
