Avoidant (Film)
Avoidant is a 2016 Australian dark-comedy, drama, thriller film written, produced and directed by filmmaker Jesse Jaeger, and co-produced by Ryan Molloy and Kaela Coates during 2015. Set in 2015 the film stars Ryan Molloy, Kaela Coates and Jarrod Hobby as the lead actors.
Plot[edit]
Mark (Ryan Molloy), Linda (Kaela Coates) and Johnny (Jarrod Hobby), find themselves in a predicament that will change the course of there friendship. Johnny suffers from Avoidant Personality Disorder which effects over 800 million people. While Mark and Linda are ignorant to the fact, they belittle him and make pity of him till he snaps.
Production[edit]
Gabeson Productions intended to begin production in 2014, but due to script issues and casing problems, the film was pushed forward 12 months. Due to post-production issues with the edit, Avoidant was released on January 18th 2016, which was 34 Days later then expected.
Release[edit]
Avoidant was released in over 60 Countries. The Film received mostly positive feedback from film critics and the public, praising it for its dark toned humour, but drew some criticism for its edit and acting performances. Avoidant has generated over $12,000 USD in the global online box-office, making this Jesse Jaegers highest grossing film of all time.
