Awale Stadium is a sporting facility that is named in memory of Mohammed Awale Liban, a Somali nationalist who designed the flag of Somalia in 1954. The stadium was renovated in 2021 and now can host a capacity of approximately 15 000 fans. The stadium also hosts public gatherings such Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.
