Axon Active
Axon Active is a Swiss-owned software outsourcing company headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Founded in 2008, it is a subsidiary of Axon Active Group, a technology conglomerate in Europe. Axon Active is now house to more than 500 software engineers with 5 offices in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Can Tho, San Francisco and Luzern.[1]
Axon Active Vietnam’s services includes offshore software development and testing with main competencies in Mobile Application, Web Application, Business Processing, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Fintech, Biotech, Artificial Intelligence, Quality Assurance, System Integration Testing, Automation Testing, Software Maintenance and Manual Testing.
The company later expands its services in providing Agile coaching and ICT services.
Most of its employees are based in Vietnam, accounting for more than 90% of the work force. It’s major markets are Japan, Europe, Australia and East Asia.

2008 – 2011: Foundation and first move[edit]
The company’s history began in Lucerne, Switzerland where its founders, Stefan Muff and Dr. Uli Sigg built Axon Group on the challenges of the digital transformation.
2008, its first offshore software engineer teams operated in Vietnam.
In 2011, the company made its first move up by establishing a new office in Da Nang.[2]
2012 – 2015: Growing Agile community and making global debut[edit]
In 2012, with the aim at spreading Agile and Scrum popular in Vietnam, Axon Active organized Scrum Breakfast. The event is a monthly gathering for people with same interest in Agile software and later brought to Da Nang.[3]
In 2014, Axon Active organized DevDay Da Nang, a playground for IT students and developers to engage with experts in the field.[4]
In late 2015, its San Francisco office was opened to American corporations. The following years, the company successfully brought their services to Australia and Japan.
2016 – now: Explore new talent pool[edit]
In March 2017, Axon Active makes a move down south to Can Tho city, a future international hub for economic, technology and industrial production.[5]
In May 2018, Axon Active attended the event named Meet Da Nang: A Talk About Your Next Business Destination organized by Eurocham in Vietnam to help Da Nang attract strategic investors.[6]
Achievements[edit]
In 2015, Axon Active became the Microsoft Gold Partner[7].
In May 2018, the company achieved ISO 27001:2013 certification.
