Aydin Turan is a Turkish-American engineer and businessman. Currently, he is owner of the Dolzza Construction Company.
Biography[edit]
Aydin Turan was born in 1965 to a Turkish father and half-American mother. Turan started his basic education in Turkey at Kadikoy Anadolu lisesi. He later got admitted into Istanbul Teknik University's class of 1987 where he earned an honorary Bachelor of Technology, having studied Civil Engineering. Later, he moved to the United Statesm and earned an honorary Masters Degree in Engineering Technology from the Harvard University.
He has completed several short courses in management, engineering technology, production and offshore technical operations. His experience has helped him reach several milestones in his career both as an active entrepreneur and engineer. He has worked for over 25 years in different aspect of engineering fields including Operating Officer at Genel Energy, and as a contract staffer for 7 years at the Chevron Corporation.
In 2010, he founded the Dolzza Construction Company, which - as of 2017 - has been in operation for over 12 years. They have been involved in major construction, road resurfacing, oil and gas product purchasing, and general construction services. In 2012, Dolzza started to offered construction services globally.[1]
Personal Life[edit]
In 1993, he married his wife Maria, who passed away in 2002.
