Azager is borne out of the need to create an e-commerce solution that permits people to trade whatever tangibles they have, new or pre-owned.
Selling pre-owned or used products is usually motivated by the reluctance to discard them as well as the need to make money off them. This is the primary goal of Azager - to provide the comfort of purchasing pre-owned or used items without going through any hassle of fraud or feeling judged.
Azager is set to launch in October, 2022 and begin operations in Lagos, Nigeria. The business is currently open to transactions within the axis of Lagos, however, it has the potential to diversify across states in Nigeria as it develops.
The business strives to satisfy as much customers in Lagos and establish partnerships with delivery companies for inter-state transactions.
It also provides a user-friendly experience as is seen from the easy layout of the website (www.azager.com) and mobile app (Azager).
Azager offers a free membership for all vendors and charges a 5-10% commission on each sale, which is probably the lowest on any e-commerce platform. This is to ensure that every vendor finds a safe space to make good sales and profits without breaking a sweat.
To ensure transparency and accountability, vendors on Azager are required to provide a verifiable identification of their business as a legal entity such as their social media handles, certificate of registration as a business and other means of verification.
Azager currently has about 20 employees to its management and operations which includes professionally-trained customer-service officers and others.
In a bid to foster growth and inclusivity in the entertainment and economic sector among youths in Nigeria, Gospel Nwachukwu deems it imperative to bring his legacy home.
