The Special Operations Forces (Azerbaijani:Xüsusi Təyinatlı Əməliyyat Qoşunları/Khususi Teyinatli Emeliyyat Qoshunlari) is the elite Azerbaijani Armed Forces component. It has been established to conduct special operations, covert operations, special reconnaissance, counter intelligence, counter terrorism, counter insurgency, amphibious and asymmetric warfare in and outside Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijani Special Operations Forces is the 5th military branch of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces formed in early 1991. It is composed of special forces units and command:
- Army Special Forces (Azerbaijan) - main special operations unit
- Azerbaijan NavySEALs- naval warfare unit
- Commando (Azerbaijan) - counter-terrorism forces
- Elite Special Forces (Azerbaijan) - elite unit
- Cevik Herekat Qruplari (CHQ) - rapid reaction force
- Xususi Teyinatli Polis Destesi - special police forces
