Azeridictionary
azeridictionary (in Azb. azərilüğət) is a Baku based online dictionary for slang phrases and words in Azerbaijani language. The platform was founded by Fazil Humbatli (known as @morefuzzy on social media platforms) on 21th of January, 2020. The contents created in English to define Azerbaijani slang words (which are merely jokes and offensive statements instead of the actual definition itself) went viral after being shared on Instagram and Azerbaijani media. According to 1News, (a popular Azerbaijani newspaper) the platform reached more than 25 thousand followers on the first day the page on instagram was created and the contents reached more than 50 to 60 thousand users each.[1]
