Azita Afrashi

Azita Afrashi (born in 1972, Tehran) is a linguist and a faculty member at the Encyclopedia Research Center, Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies. She serves as the head of the Encyclopedia Research Center. In 2002, she obtained her Ph.D. in linguistics from Allameh Tabataba'i University. The title of her dissertation is "Proposing a Semantic Relevance Hypothesis for the Cognition and Explication of Meaning."[1]
