Azure Pharmaceuticals is national pharmaceutical and healthcare company. The company has products in therapeutic areas, and manufacture formulations, generic drugs, vaccines, nutritionals, OTC as affordable healthcare products in India.[1] [2]It came in existence in year 1999. The company products are ranging in all common and alarming health problems, every rural and remote areas of India.[3][4]

Azure Pharmaceuticals came into existence in 1990s and in research found infection due to contaminated water and food , pneumonia was also very common as the polio in India. But the proper medication were not available everywhere and thousand of people where suffering and many were dying due critical infection and not getting medication available.[5] [6]So, azure Pharmaceuticals was established came in to light when they control this situation by new formulation and its ample supply to all the areas of India.[7]
Azure launched the two highly effective formulation tablet under their brand name.
In 2000s Azure researched and found the malnutrition in children to healthy pregnancy in mothers, Large section of medication for pregnancy complications was introduced in the healthcare sector, and also launched india’s first L-methylfolate formulation with iron for prevention of IDA in pregnancy. And established its azure gynocare subsidiary in 2009.[8][9]
With just one area azure then expanded to whole india to minimise the use of heavy pain killer injection and tablet with greater side effects. Azure Pharmaceuticals was first to launched piroxicam in sublingual tablet.[10]
Azure made possible GMP certified and WHO certified products to export in the Indian.
