B’laster Corporation is the Cleveland, Ohio-based maker of PB B’laster Penetrant and a variety of lubricants. The company’s corporate office and manufacturing plant are located in Valley View, Ohio, while its distribution warehouse is in Medina, Ohio.[1]
The company’s product portfolio includes between 20 and 22 products.[1] In addition to PB B’laster – a penetrant – B’laster also sells Multi-Purpose Lubricant, Dry Lube with TeflonTM, Garage Door Lubricant, Silicone Lubricant, White Lithium Grease and other products.[1] The company recently launched a grease line, including PB Penetrating Grease.[2]
B’laster products are sold at Home Depot, Lowe's, AutoZone, AutoZone Mexico, Canadian Tire, NAPA Auto Parts, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Advance Auto Parts, Walmart, Tractor Supply Co. and Ace Hardware stores.[3]
The company is owned by Tom Porter. He took over as Chairman in 1998.[3] Tom’s father, Bernie Porter, purchased B’laster in 1980.[3] In 2016, B’laster introduced a new brand identity, including logo, package design, and tagline, “Work It Like a Pro.”[4] In November 2017, Kurt Gabram was appointed Chief Executive Officer, and Randy Pindor was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer.[5]
