B.R Chopra Mahabharat Awards
The Mahabharat(1988 Television Series) produced by BR Chopra and directed by his son Ravi Chopra is considered the most successful Mahabharata ever produced in history of television.[1][2]. The lead actors of the show- Pankaj Dheer, Nitish Bharadwaj and Mukesh Khanna became household names during the early 90s.[3]
