Licensed by the Government of Curacao and operates under the Master License of Gaming Services Provider, BA88 has since been operating across several regulated online marketplaces.

Over the years, BA88 expanded by introducing the BA88 affiliate program and diversifying to support more than five languages. In 2018, BA88 closed a three-year deal with La Liga, Spanish Professional Football League. As the official Asian betting partner, BA88 will be gaining worldwide recognition by being featured on digital billboards throughout the league’s away matches involving Barcelona FC and Real Madrid Early 2019, BA88 announced former Chelsea captain and English footballer – John Terry as the brand ambassador. The agreement gives BA88 exclusive rights to market products and services on various advertising platforms throughout Asia using John Terry as the brand ambassador.

In the same year, BA88 were among the few sponsors for an e-sports tournament – Malaysia KPL 5v5 Online Tournament. The sponsorship served as an effort to bridge the gap between e-sports communities in Malaysia and China. The tournament champions were also sponsored mainly by BA88.
