History
In July 2009, The Telegraph reported that Belgachia Muslim High School was awaiting government recognition, with its application having remained pending since 2006. At the time, the school had around 700 students and followed the Madhyamik curriculum, but its lack of recognition meant that students had to appear for the Madhyamik examination as external candidates.[4]
Education
The school is co-educational and uses Urdu as its medium of instruction. It follows the curriculum of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE).[5]
