BET.com Countdown was a television show that aired on BET, premiering on March 5, 2001. Viewers could log on to BET.com and pick the music videos they wanted to see in the top 5.
Originally hosted by Tiffany, she later went to host The Center, another BET program. She was replaced by Young Sir, who would continue as host until he was fired in November 2004. Recording artist Ray J took over as host of the show, and remained until his departure on November 4, 2005. Rotating celebrity guests served as hosts between November and December 2005. In December 2005, Lamorne Morris and Alesha Reneé, who were among the winners during BET's "New Faces" talent search, assumed hosting duties.
The last episode aired on June 23, 2006. It was replaced by Hotwyred
