BIM Track is a cloud-based software for construction and building design teams to raise and resolve coordination issues using Building Information Modeling (BIM).

    Overview:[edit]

BIM Track centralizes BIM coordination issues and assigns data to them for easier resolution, such as person assigned to, due date, priority and more. Using the power of openBIM, the location of an issue and this metadata is tied together. BIM Track can be accessed using simply a browser, or using the add-ins for Autodesk Revit, Navisworks or Tekla Structures. Using BCFs and IFCs, two standard file formats for openBIM, BIM Track can also communicate with other authoring, model checking, and clash detection software programs.

BIM Track also has powerful reporting and metrics to meet project deliverables on time. BIM Track is used by building owners, architects, engineers, general contractors (GCs) and their subcontractors. It is noted for its’ ease of use[1] and interoperability[2].
