Hà Xuân Đức (born November 23, 2004), known as BINNE[1], is a Vietnamese music producer and electronic music artist known for his energetic sound and ability to mix different genres.[2]
Early Life and Education
BINNE was born on November 23, 2004, in Quang Binh, Vietnam. He grew up in a family with no artistic background but discovered his love for music early. He actively took part in school music events, showcasing his passion and talent.
After listening to Faded by Alan Walker, he became inspired to pursue music production. He began learning and experimenting with digital audio workstations, laying the foundation for his future career.
Career
2018–2020: Early Career and First Releases
BINNE initially used the stage name Binn D, later changing it to BINN, and finally settling on BINNE. In 2018, he started producing music with FL Studio and released his debut track, In The Jungle, on YouTube, marking the beginning of his journey.
In 2020, he released official singles such as My Sunshine (as BINN), Losing My Mind, and Just One Night. Later that year, he signed with Day Dose of House[3], a Latvian EDM label, and collaborated with Censored X on Feel So High[4]. The track amassed over 1 million streams on platforms like Spotify and YouTube, expanding his audience internationally.
2021–2023: Collaborations and Breakthrough
In 2021, BINNE collaborated with Mexican producer Cuish and American singer and TikToker Jordan Rys to release Starlight[5] under LoudKult, a well-known EDM label. The track gained over 200,000 streams, further elevating his career.
In 2022, he worked with AlexD Music Insight, a Vietnamese influencer and English teacher, on multiple projects, including remixes of Top of the World[6] by The Carpenters and Secret Love Song by Little Mix. These projects helped him connect with audiences in Vietnam and across Asia.
In 2023, BINNE collaborated with producers Curdz and Jinx FTRE to release Stay With Me[7], a deep house track featuring Vietnamese-American singer My Linh. The song was released under Universal Music Vietnam, a division of Universal Music Group, marking a significant milestone in his career.
Following the success of Stay With Me, BINNE collaborated with Universal Music Vietnam and My Linh on a remix of Nếu Lúc Đó[8] by Vietnamese rapper tlinh. The remix gained popularity in Vietnam and went viral on TikTok and YouTube with over 500,000 views.
During this period, he also worked with British singer-songwriter Shayan Regan on When In Rome[9], a dance-pop track. This project, which began in 2022, took over a year to complete, reflecting his dedication to music production.
2024: More Collaborations and Remixes
In 2024, BINNE continued his collaboration with AlexD Music Insight, producing several remixes that received millions of engagements on social media platforms. He also released an R&B cover of Feliz Navidad featuring Vietnamese singer-songwriter Shay N under TechBeat Records, bringing a fresh take to the holiday classic.
Recognition
In 2024, BINNE was named among the top 2000 Vietnamese musical artists by Viberate.com, underscoring his growing impact in the music industry[10].
