The BIS Innovation Hub is a research and development organization established by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) with a mandate to identify and analyze critical trends in technology relevant to central banking, develop public goods in the technology space, and serve as a network hub for central bank experts on innovation. The Innovation Hub was set up in response to the increasing pace of technology-driven innovation in financial services and its potential impact on global financial systems and central banks.
