BVC Ventures is a logistics and investment company across India, Hong Kong, and Singapore headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra.[1][2][3][4][5]
In 1960, Mr. BV Chinai founded B V Chinai Transport Pvt Ltd. as a customs clearance company in Mumbai. BVC Clearance had then acquired CHA License in 1971. In the year 1980, secure logistics business, BVC Logistics acquired IATA accreditation. In 1988 the company initiated India’s first EDP System. Moving on to the year 1992 BVC Logistics started a global secured logistics setup. Till the year 1999, the company expanded to 6 cities of India network.[6]
BVC Logistics was the first company in India which used GPS armoured vehicles in 2002. In 2004 BVC Tourism was established for corporate group travel solutions. In the year 2009 BVC Logistics handled logistics of Indian Premier League 2. In 2014, a joint venture was formed with BVC & Brinks Global and in 2015 Vamaship, a logistics marketplace was established.[7][8]
Social Initiatives[edit]
BVC VENTURES established BVC foundation for the up-liftment of the society a nd aims to reach & support underprivileged children. BVC Foundation collaborates with over 100 NGOs from across India to collect funds to support these children.[9][10]
