Overview
The BYD Han 9 was teased on January 10 2026 by BYD as a successor of the first-generation Han, alongside its SUV sibling, the Tang 9. A previously proposed name for this vehicle is "Great Han" (大汉).[2] It is set to be revealed in the first half of 2026.
The Han 9 is expected to have a length exceeding 5.1 meters and a wheelbase exceeding 3.1 meters, and will be offered in both plug-in hybrid and battery electric powertrains.[1]
