Marcellus Register (born February 7, 1991), better known by his stage name Babyface Ray, is an American rapper. He was a member of the Detroit rap group Team Eastside, which included fellow rapper Peezy (the leader). Ray released his debut studio album, Face, on January 28, 2022.[1]
Early life[edit]
Marcellus Register was born on February 7, 1991, and raised on the East Side of Detroit, Michigan.[2][3] Growing up, Register listened to hip hop artists such as André 3000, Jay-Z and Nas.[3] Register joined the local rap group Team Eastside while in high school in the mid-2000s. After high school, he started his solo musical career.
