Bad law

Bad law, or a bad law, includes laws that are oppressive or that cause injustice. It may also include a proposition of law that is erroneous, or an attempted statement of the law that is inaccurate.
A precedent that has been overruled may be bad law. A judicial decision that is based on no law at all,[1] was wrongly decided,[2] or made per incuriam[3] may constitute bad law.
