Ghana Badminton Association is the national governing and supervisory body of badminton sport in Ghana. Established as Ghana Badminton Association in 1972 under the sports act of SMCD 54 and its ensuing subsequent government acts as approved and gazetted. The Ghana Badminton Association has areas for Competitive, Fun, Elite Play, Events, Membership, Development and Coaching. We work with all our 16 regional associations and growing in more than 46 community clubs and 354 Schools, colleges, university across the country to provide support to the clubs and its structures. Ghana Badminton was a founding member of the Badminton Confederation of Africa, and of member of the Badminton World Federation (BWF), which is the international governing body for the sport. The unique qualities of badminton make it accessible and enjoyable for anyone and everyone. And we work collaboratively with our partners and stakeholders to provide traditional and innovative opportunities for all to be involved; from Basic, Senior High and Tertiary School programmes to seniors and Veterans social badminton, from School, Community and regional clubs and from our national class coaching development to our major events delivery. With Olympic success at the heart of our ambitions, we are investing our knowledge and expertise in rebuilding build a quality future for our sport by strengthening and evolving the domestic game and developing talent to achieve success on the international stage, inspiring the next generation of players and local fans and corporate community. With millions of Ghanaians playing every year, badminton is looking forward to being the nation’s favourite racket sport by 2023. We want to inspire everyone to play more, support louder and love badminton, from this generation to the next as the world’s fastest racket sport.   • Mr. Paul Kodjokuma from 2004-2009

  • Yeboah Evans 2017 to present
