Badri Sanjeevi- CEO Mauj Mobile and CFO People Group

Badri Sanjeevi is the CEO of Mauj Mobile. He is also the CFO of People Group which owns internet portals like Shaadi.com, Makaan.com along with Mauj Mobile.

Early life and Education

Badri is a commerce graduate from Chennai University and a Chartered Accountant having cleared his exams in All India rank-holders list. He has also done his MBA from reputed INSEAD Business School of France.

Career

In his career spanning of over 20 years, Badri has advised several leading media and telecom companies on developing corporate strategy and driving business performance. Badri started his career with Arthur Andersen and went on to work with leading organizations like Deutsche Bank, T-Mobile and Deloitte in UK.

After living in UK for a couple of years, Badri re-located to India and joined People Group in 2008. Currently, Badri Sanjeevi leads Mauj Mobile on its growth path working closely with telecom operators, media companies and mobile app developers. As a result of his strategic planning, Mauj Mobile entered the education domain with Appystore.in, an edutainment portal for kids on mobile.

Achievements

Badri Sanjeevi has been awarded the prestigious CFO 100 Roll of Honour for Top 100 CFOs of India in 2012, 2013 and 2015.

Respecting his contribution towards growth of the company, the board of People Group recognized Badri Sanjeevi as Co-Founder of Mauj Mobile in 2014. Under his leadership, Mauj Mobile won the Red Herring European Innovation Award and Mobango won the mBillionth for innovative products in developing countries.

Personal Life

Badri lives in Mumbai with his wife and two children.
