Baidyanath Singh

Shaheed Baidyanath Singh (21 March 1770 – 11 November 1814) was a freedom fighter and great leader of the Chuar rebellion. He led the Chuar rebellion against British rule and died fighting against the British. Baidyanath Singh was originally a resident of Dampara in Ghatshila area. His father Jagannath Singh and son Raghunath Singh have also died fighting against the British.[1]
