Baires Raffaelli
Baires Raffaelli (1975) is a distinguished Italian architect and writer[1][2][3][4]. He graduated with honors from the University of Rome “Sapienza”, where he also earned a PhD in Architecture, Theory, and Planning[5]. His work spans various aspects of architecture, with a particular focus on architectural design and form (formal typology), as well as accessibility[6][7] in architecture. He has authored several influential books on these subjects, including “The Fast Guide to Architectural Form”[8] and “The Fast Guide to Accessibility Design”[9].
“The Fast Guide to Accessibility Design” is widely recognized as one of the leading guides on accessible design. The book has been included by BookAuthority among the "20 Best-Selling Accessibility Books of All Time"[10]. It has also been widely recommended as a resource for accessible design by numerous universities [9][11], such as the University of Toronto’s John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture[12], and the INU – National Institute of Urban Planning[13], highlighting its significance in the field.
"The Fast Guide to Architectural Form", has received recognition and was mentioned in the Bruno Zevi Award[14][15] for its contribution to the dissemination of contemporary architectural culture.
