Bakir Karasalihović (born 29 October 2003), often simply known as Bake,[5][6] is a Bosnian singer, rapper, and a social media personality. He started actively posting content on the video-sharing app, YouTube in late 2014,[7] where he would post gaming videos.[8] He quickly amassed a large following on the platform, and later in 2018 embarked on a music career with the single "Gledaj Me Sad".
Life and career[edit]
Karasalihović was born on 29 October 2003 in Travnik, but was raised in Kiseljak.[9] During his childhood, his main preoccupation was football. He dreamed that one day he would play in a big club, so in 2011 he started training at a local club. Due to health problems in 2014, he had to take a break from games and training.[10] Afterward, he started his YouTube career, following the massive success with his debut single Gledaj Me Sad in 2018. In the same year, he appeared in the movie Youtube Ratovi (YouTube Wars), whose idea was created by his colleague Omer Nadarević.[11]
In January 2020, Karasalihović was nominated in the category for the YouTuber of the year, hosted by MAC / Music Awards Ceremony. In May 2020, he started acting in the movie Zajedno sami which talks about Bosnians and Herzegovinians during a COVID-19 pandemic.[12]
