Baker and Partners is a specialist litigation and dispute resolution practice based in Jersey, Channel Islands.[1][2] The firm’s practice areas span Civil and commercial litigation, contentious trusts, financial crime, insolvency, fraud, asset trading & recovery, matrimonial law and regulation.[3][4]

The firm was established in 2003 under the name Baker Associates by English Barrister and Jersey Advocate Stephen Baker, who was formerly in practice as a Crown Advocate in Jersey’s Law Officers’ Department, working for H.M. Attorney General for Jersey.[5][6] The practice was established with a focus on complex financial crime and formed part of the BakerPlatt Group, providing legal advice and professional financial services training.[7][8]
A strategic alliance was created with the chambers of 7BR Barristers Chambers in November 2003.[9] In 2006 the firm was recommended for the in the Legal 500 for its work within its niche practice areas.[1] In 2010, Baker Associates separated from the BakerPlatt Group and rebranded as Baker and Partners.[10]
