On June 16, 2023, a trailer for another Bakugan reboot was released on YouTube. The first two episodes will be previewed on Roblox on August 4, 2023. The reboot will be released on Netflix on September 1, 2023 and will air on Disney XD on September 23, 2023.

The next battle is Dan and Drago, but Dan is distracted by the smell of corn dogs, Drago tells his partner to stay focused. Tia Dee then interrupts their conversation, she is live-streaming and excited about how she found the Bakugan Dragonoid and Brawler Dan. She interviews Drago about his upcoming brawl against his rival Nillious, but Drago is overwhelmed by the questions so Dan decides to be interviewed, and tells the story of Drago. Dan Kouzo and Dragonoid shocked the Brawling world after being the first kid and Bakugan to pair together, and also shows Drago has the ability to grow larger. Tia Dee interviews Drago and asks how Dragonoid grew, but Drago doesn't know how the process occured. Drago and Ventri comment on a legend believed as a myth that Bakugan could grow larger. More reports that Bakugan can only grow into giants when paired with a kid (Brawler), and Drago isn't the only Bakugan who can achieve this. The bond between Brawler and Bakugan have generated some sort of device (which resembles a Ripcard from the physical Bakugan toy game). Dan is sad that Bakugan Brawling has been banned, but Griffin thinks about how he never got a pair with a Bakugan and never had a Bakugan Brawl. Griffins phone then rings, Griffin set up a BakuBall tracking app to find any Bakugan that have showed up on Earth. Dan and Griffin are surprised another Bakugan has showed up because they thought there wouldn't be more BakuBalls appearing on Earth. Dan goes to find Drago, who is working at a Burger Shop. Dan, Griffin, and Mia meet up at the location of the BakuBall, Griffin touches the ball, revealing a dinosaur Bakugan known as Trox. The dinosaur Bakugan looks around in anger and attacks Drago and Ventri. Unfortunately for the Brawlers, Chip has arrived with the police to stop them. Drago tells Dan and Mia to roll them back out from BakuBall form to stop the dinosaur Bakugan. Dan and Mia send out their Bakugan, when rolled out from BakuBall to Bakugan Form, they appear in their giant size. Trox is shocked at the giant sized Drago and Ventri, but Chip ends the conversation with Drago and Ventri shortly return to their normal-sized Bakugan Form. Dan, Drago, and Kage come out of the portal to Iceland, Kage takes Dan and his partner Bakugan to a fire station in Iceland. Inside the fire station lies a hidden training facility known as a MOD, a location modified for Brawlers. There is a sparring corner, training gym, battle tech research lab, and a lounge. Drago asks Kage if every Bakugan in this MOD is a Dragon type, which Kage confirms, explaining this is the location of the Dragon Clan. Kage reveals that ever since brawling was outlawed, Bakugan of the same type started grouping together and forming Clans. To Drago's surprise, Kage mentions there are other clans: Insect Clan, Dino Clan, Aquatic Clan, Mammal Clan, and Avian Clan - they all have their own MODs too. Kage believes that while the Clans are different, all Clans believe the authorities were wrong to take brawling away, so they decided to not follow their orders. Kage brought Dan and Drago to the Dragon Clan's headquarters in order to get them to join his Clan. While Dan is interested, Drago believes he and Dan should discuss their decision in private. Dan and Kage agree, despite Drago's hesitation. Kage then introduces the founder of the Dragon Clan, who is none other than Drago's rival - Nillious. Mia leaves her house to meet up with her friends. Unknowing to her parents, Mia hides that she has a Bakugan and doesn't go out with her school outfit, her hair-clip transforms her into her normal attire. In the closed Bakugan arena, Drago and Ventri fight when a dog runs towards Griffin. It appears that Trox can understand animals, as he explains this dog says he lives there and his nap was interrupted, as well as if they have snacks. Trox says the dog is okay with them staying since they have snacks. The battle between Drago and Ventri ends in no outcome because Dan looks like he is hiding something. Dan and his friends continue to decorate their new MOD/hideout but are interrupted by Griffin who is playing music in the DJ booth. Griffins music is then cut by the members of another Clan. One of the members, known as Backslash says they are not a real Clan because they are completely inconsistent. Another member says their location doesn't look real, and the Clan isn't real either. Backslash tells Dan and his friends that they are aware of their Clan because they are constantly gathering data and analyzing information. Backslash introduces him and his members as the Insect Clan, a BakuLeague Clan led by Backslash. Backslashs partner Mantid came because they thought they would be good opponents, but it seems they've wasted their time. Dan asks what the BakuLeague is, with one of the members named Function responding that it is a brawling league run by all the "real" Clans. The other member named Tilde also says its run in secret so nobody tries to stop them. In order to qualify, Dan and his friends must beat a Clan that is already in the league. Dan and his friends have formed the Misfit Clan and finished their MOD/hideout. Mia argues that they should look for more members because 3 people isn't enough. Murph the Dog starts to bark at something, which turns out to be a cat. The cat takes a liking to Trox, who decides to name it "Lil' Jasper", after his old wingman Jasper who is also small and furry and wore a purple bandana too. Even though Jasper is another member added, the Misfits need more members that can brawl. Griffin shows his friends a video of a kid named Juno Reyes who posts crazy stunts online with her Bakugan, he believes she will make a good addition to their Clan. The Misfit Clan find Juno doing a stunt with Bruiser, Juno has heard of Dan Kouzo the Brawler before due to him forming a new Clan. She knows this due to sending a signal to their phones in order to find information about them. Mia is amazed at Juno's hacking skills, asking her to join their Clan. A portal opens revealing another Clan, the Mammal Clan. The Clan Leader known as Ace gives Juno the opportunity to join their Clan. Juno decides that she and Bruiser want to see a BakuBrawl in order to choose which Clan she joins. The reboot will be released on Netflix on September 1, 2023 | |||||

The other Clan members discuss the Misfit Clan, with Nillious commenting how they are an abomination, a Clan that permits any Bakugan to join is dangerous and threatens them all. He suggests they deal with Drago to weaken them and abolish their clan for good. Backslash pleads to allow his Insect Clan to take down the Misfit Clan, having a master plan to end the Misfits. Back at the Misfit MOD, Juno is pranking Dan and his friends by hacking their devices. Griffin suggests to Juno that instead of pranking, she could find a way to give their Bakugan a competitive edge. Juno discovers that the alien card device the Misfit use has more to it. Although the HUD shows Bakugan stats, she discovers there is a new Bakugan variant within the code that is combined from various energy sources. Juno gives this gold variant to Griffin's Bakugan to roll out, showcasing Bakugan Gold Evolution. Although the Misfits want to hide this new power, the Insect Clan was watching them the whole time. Dan and Juno are testing out Gold Evolution in a Brawl, but they are secretly being spied on by Kage and Nillious. Dan and his friends leave Murph and Jasper at the MOD as they leave for the night. Kage and Nillious attempt to enter the Misfit's MOD later at night to steal the Golden Evolution, but Murph and Jasper refuse to open it, so Nillious breaks the entrance open. Seeing that Kage and Nillious broke in, Murph and Jasper decide to set up traps in order to stop them. Nillious eventually catches Murph and Jasper in the battle arena. Murph throws a Clan Card and creates a battlefield, but the two animals have no Bakugan. Despite this, Murph and Jasper are too fast and small for Nillious, they end up defeating Nillious due to its two heads getting constricted. Since Kage lost, he leaves, but he made sure to take pictures of the Golden Evolution before leaving. The reboot will be released on Netflix on September 1, 2023 | |||||

The Misfit Clan is challenged by the Dino Clan, led by Dumbbell and Barbell, requesting to brawl against Griffin and his Dino Bakugan Trox to see how he matches against their Dino Bakugan. Griffin is nervous about the battle, but Trox cheers up and tells Griffin he should train like Captain Shadow, a character from one of his favorite TV shows. The Misfit Clan later arrives at the Dino Clans MOD, which is a museum. The Misfits meet the leaders, twins Dumbbell and Barbell. Barbell, the sister, challenges Griffin to a brawl. Griffin sends out his Gold Evolution Trox, but Griffin is shocked to see Barbell also has a Gold Evolution Bakugan. Dumbbell reveals Kage and Nillious gave the data for Gold Evolution to the Dino Clan that was stolen from the Misfit's MOD. Kage and Nillious are shown watching the battle between Dino Bakugan via a mechanical ornithopter that resembles an insect. Kage questions why Nillious gave the Gold Evolution data to the other Clans, with Nillious responding it was done to keep the Misfits in check as they were becoming stronger due to these new powers. They are confronted by Backslash and Mantid, so Dan battles Backslash in revenge for the viral video. Backslash now has access to Gold Evolution too, with his Mantid using the golden weapon known as Starflails. Drago appears to be holding back during the brawl, and reveals he is hiding something - Drago is the one who created the video. He wanted to make a viral video as a gift, but he accidentally uploaded it when he tried to delete it realizing it could be embarrassing. The Misfit Clan is hanging out at the pool when a hologram of Chip interrupts their fun. Drago says they are looking for an ally, so Rip takes them to their MOD. The Aquatic Clans MOD is inside a sunken ship. It turns out that the Aquatic Clan had no intention of partnering with the Misfits, they just wanted to see what everyone has been talking about them. Rip believes the Misfit Clan is a joke, their MOD is in a place anyone can see, their Bakugan are mixtures of different types, and their base is filled with junk. The reboot will be released on Netflix on September 1, 2023 and will air on Disney XD on September 23, 2023. It premiered on Pop in the United Kingdom on 4 September 2023. It premiered on 9Go! in Australia on 30 September 2023, the broadcast will begin on Disney XD Canada starting October 22nd at 8:30AM. YTV will also air the series beginning November 17th at 3PM.
