Balendra Shah, also known as Balen Shah, is a Nepali musician rapper and an engineer. He made an independent bid for the post of Mayor of Kathmandu in the local elections in 2022.[1]. With a huge social media following, he managed to make a significant lead[2] in the Elections capturing more than double the votes of his opponent Kashav Sthapit [3]
