Ballad in Blood
Ballad in Blood is a 2016 Italian horror film directed by Ruggero Deodato. It is inspired by the real life Murder of Meredith Kercher. [1]
Plot
After a dissolute night of partying, Lenka, her friend Jacopo and her roommate Duke wake up with a classic film tear. That would not be so bad in itself if the student Elizabeth had not been murdered in her apartment that night. The three comrades in fate try to fill the gaps from last night with their memories, plus the videos on the deceased's cell phone.
The three first decide to cover up the murder. To do this, a witness has to disappear and, of course, the corpse has to be disposed of. However, the plans all fail due to the inability of the three. A fake woman is accidentally murdered, while Duke and Jacopo also mess with a horde of drug addicts who supplied Duke with drugs.
Ultimately, the three get on the track of last night's secret, with various theories ultimately floating around. So it is clear that Lenka and Elizabeth couldn't stand each other. Lenka took advantage of a costume party because she knew that Elizabeth was disgusted with black people. Intoxicated by drugs and alcohol, they let Elizabeth be seduced by Duke and led her into her apartment. There they dropped Duke's mask and forced Elizabeth to have sex with him. Exactly who killed her is not revealed. The three suspect each other and kill each other during the showdown.
