Bamboo Group (company)
Bamboo Group is an Estonia-based software developer for the public and private sector. The company was founded in 2006. Headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, the company's educational software solutions have been adopted by schools in Eastern Europe, Asia, and Africa.[1][2] School OS educational product is promoted by Smart Africa across the African region.[3] The developments are underway in Minsk, Belarus. It operates offices in Nairobi, Kenya, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A Hi-Tech Park, the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECCI), EAS Enterprise Estonia member, and a NASDAQ OMX issuer.[4][5]
In 2015, Bamboo Group was part of the delegation of the Estonian Prime Minister Taavi Rõivas while he was on an official visit to Dubai and Oman timed to the GITEX exhibition.[6]
In 2016 and 2017, its delegates attended the exhibition of electronic and mobile services Smart City Expo at EAS Enterprise Estonia.[7][8]
In 2018, School OS was presented in the Estonian National Pavilion within the MWC 2018 exhibition.[9]
