Band Wives Podcast is hosted by Misha Lazzara and Chondra Sanchez and was created to spotlight the stories of touring musicians and their families. [1] As women "married to music"–their husbands front rock bands Coheed and Cambria and Taking Back Sunday–the podcast frequently discusses the unique challenges of juggling their own careers, relationships, tour schedules, and home life.[2] The podcast published it's first episode in July of 2022[3] and has hosted a wide range of guests, including Philly-based artist Kayleigh Goldsworthy, Los Angeles designer Marie Trohman, singer Allie Coleen, and hosts of Honest AF Podcast (and fellow band wives) Daniella Clarke and Barbaranne Wylde. The podcast is currently available on their website, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts, among others.

About The Hosts[edit]

CHONDRA SANCHEZ (born April 22, 1983) is an American writer and co-author of over six graphic novel properties, including the ongoing NYT best-selling story, The Amory Wars, which tells the album concept stories of the band Coheed and Cambria.[4] Other popular publications co-authored by Sanchez include Key of Z, Kill Audio, Translucid, and the Vaxis novella series.[5]. She is the creative co-director of Evil Ink Comics.[6]

Chondra is married to Claudio Sanchez, lead singer, guitarist and a song writer for Coheed and Cambria. They met backstage at a concert in Jacksonville, FL in 2003 and were married in New York on October 23, 2009. They currently live in Brooklyn with their son, Atlas.[7]

MISHA LAZZARA is the author of Manmade Constellations, published in 2022 by Blackstone Publishing.[8] She currently teaches fiction writing at UNC Charlotte.[9] Misha holds a master's degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and her master's in creative writing from N.C. State University.[10]

Misha is married to Adam Lazzara, lead vocalist of the rock band Taking Back Sunday.[citation needed] They were married in June of 2008[citation needed] and currently live with their three children in North Carolina.[11]
