History

The distance of this temple from Jaipur is around 50 km. It is prevalent about the history of the temple that long ago this place used to be completely forest. One day a Banjara came here roaming somewhere, who also had an idol, which he kept with him and rested the night. The next day when he got up and got ready to proceed on the journey and started lifting the idol, this idol did not move from its place. He tried hard, but he could not move it. When he worked hard but he could not lift the idol from that place, he made a small stone temple around it, left the idol there and came to his home. His old mother lived at home, who was blind, but as soon as he reached home, he saw that his mother's eyes had become right and she could see well. Seeing this miracle, he thought that it is definitely the wonder of that idol and when people told about it, and then slowly-slowly it became the center of faith.

Architecture

The layout and structure of the temple is of normal size, constructed with stone or cement. First we see Lord Hanuman or Lord Shiv, a big-size *murti* in front of the *mandir* at the road. There is an idol of Balaji inside the temple which is covered with vermilion. Apart from Balaji, there are also idols of many other Hindu deities in the temple.
