Banele Mthenjane (born 18 February 2000) is a South African rugby union player for the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] in the Pro14 Rainbow Cup SA and [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] in the Currie Cup.[2] His regular position is prop.

Mthenjane was named in the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] squad for the Pro14 Rainbow Cup SA competition,[3] and was then named in the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] squad for the 2021 Currie Cup Premier Division.[4] He made his debut for the Golden Lions in Round 1 of the 2021 Currie Cup Premier Division against the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]].[5]
