Bani Suwaed

Bani Suwaed or Bani Saedi is an Arab tribe most prevalent in southern Iraq and south western Iran (Al-Ahwaz) and also in the Arab states of the Persian Gulf. It is a branch of the Bani Zubaid tribe, a Qahtanite Arab tribe that descend from Yemen and the rest of the Arabian Peninsula. A member of this tribe would have the surname "Al-Saedi", "Al-Saadi" or simply "Saedi".
