History[edit]

Banta Motor Corporation (BMC) is a fictional automobile production company founded in Bel Air, Maryland by Dmitri Bushtov on May 26th, 1994. The first production vehicle of BMC was the Banta Prestige, the base model including a 1.5 Liter 4 cylinder turbo with 250 hp and a 4 speed automatic transmission. The Prestige had 2 configurations available for sale. The first being the Prestige RTA1.5, which was the base model. The second configuration was a sport model known as the RTA1.5s that included the same engine as the base model, however, tacking 13 more horsepower, a luxury interior, and the option for a 6 speed manual transmission. For BMC, the Prestige was a hit. Selling roughly 100,000 units in the first 2 years, at a price of $13,000 for the base model and $15,000 for the sport model. Following BMC's massive boost in reputation via the Prestige's exquisite sales path, BMC decided to release a vehicle specifically targeted towards the European market. Introducing, the 1995 Banta Dolietta a small compact car featuring a 1.4 Liter 4 cylinder engine with a 4 speed automatic. The 2 configurations of this vehicle only sold 5,000 units in 2 years. BMC officially announced bankruptcy on February 4, 1995 due to lack of sales.

However, the company would make a return in 2006 with the Banta Multisport I-Series truck, selling roughly 80,000 units in the first 2 years. BMC was then bought out by Flatline Sports and Motor Division (FSMD) in 2007 solely to develop the Banta Nada 1200 for use in the drag racing industry. BMC remained under control from FSMD until 2012, when the United States Government uncovered a pyramid scheme going on within FSMD, shutting the company down forever. Luckily, BMC remained a company because it had no correlation to the pyramid scheme within FSMD.

Sales slowly declining and motivation at an all time low, Bushtov almost called it quits until a company named JTGT reached out to Bushtov in 2013 offering a reward of $25,000 per unit if BMC created a sports vehicle with high safety rating and a luxury feel. Bushtov happily accepted the deal. Introducing, the 2014 Banta Extiva. This was the last car of BMC to reach over 70,000 sales, coming in at a whopping 730,000 sales in the first 2 years. the 4 Liter V6 produced 270 hp, and received a rating of 8/10 by Car and Driver. Bushtov's happiness didn't last long, as he was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease just a month after the release of the vehicle.

So, we reach the end of the BMC saga. Bushtov died from Parkinson's Disease on October 28th, 2015 at the age of 41. (b. August 3rd, 1974)

BMC was then donated to Bushtov's father Ivan. BMC was then passed to Bushtov's nephew following Ivan's death on June 7th, 2016 at the age of 82. (b. April 9th, 1934)

Bushtov's nephew, Kero, (b. January 27th, 1996) was unable to continue BMC, therefore, BMC was permanently shut down on July 12th, 2016.
