Baram (Hangul: 바람) is a South Korean pop duo. They made their debut in 2004, with the album "Just like a wind". The title track To Love (사랑하다) initially received a lot of attention.[1][2] Son Dam-bi before her debut appeared in the music video.[3] The duo consisted of the leader, Jang-goon and Seo Woo, and Jang-goon was the stage name used by Jang Minho, who is now a successful trot singer.[4] Nothing is known about Seo Woo's activities after the duo's disbandment.
Baram's first album contains tracks of various genres such as ballads, R&B, disco, funky, hip-hop, and rock. The duo had the opportunity to showcase their singing and stage manners at many local events and college festivals.[5] They even finished song recordings written in Chinese targeting the Taiwan and Chinese markets.[6] However, while preparing for the second album, the duo was disbanded. The official timing of the duo's disbandment has never been announced. After Jang Minho's big break, Baram was once again spotlighted by the public.[7] Jang's fluent Chinese has become a hot topic several times on variety shows, and he mentioned in interviews that he started learning it when he was active as a Baram.[8]
