According to the 2015 census, the age group of 20 to 24 had the highest population with 99 individuals. While the age groups with the lowest population were 80 and over, with only 1 individual.
Geography
Barangay 79 is located in South Caloocan, particularly in its Caimito road area. It is part of Zone 7. It is bordered by Barangays 77 to the south, and 78 to the east, Barangay Potrero located in Malabon city to the north, and 80 to the west. The Barangay is near the Monumento Circle, where the Bonifacio Monument is located.
Government
Like all other barangays of the Philippines, the Barangay government of Barangay 79 consists of the Barangay captain, its head of government, and seven presiding Barangay officers and Sangguniang Barangay staffs. Its seat of government, the barangay hall, is located at the corner of Dagohoy and Caimito Road since December 2023.
Its current Barangay captain is Ezra V. Cruz, who has been holding the position since 2023.
